He was a brilliant scientist and great lecturer. He spent the end of his career here in an Australian university where he was unjustly smeared due to his views on climate change. He has given many lectures which are still on YT. I haven't heard many pay tribute to his contribution to knowledge on this subject. I had at one stage the idea of trying to simplify his lectures to make them more accessible to non-scientists but then covid came along and I got totally absorbed by that and put that project on the back burner. It would be great if somebody took this on, preferably a scientist/engineer/climate & energy specialist like yourself. I feel his work will be swept under the rug unless his work is acknowledged.
Murry Salby, Hermann Harde and Ed Berry all proposed the hypothesis that much of the increase in atmospheric CO2 was natural and not human-made. My Jan2008 paper added strong support to their hypothesis.
“Global warming alarmism, which falsely assumes that increasing atmospheric CO2 causes catastrophic global warming, is disproved – essentially, it assumes that the future is causing the past.”
dCO2/dt changes ~contemporaneously with temperature changes, but its integral CO2 changes do NOT lead, they LAG temperature changes in time.
The CAGW scam was independently proved false in this way in 1990 (Kuo et al, Nature), 2008 (MacRae) and 2013 (Humlum et al, Science). All these papers have been deliberately ignored to promote the CAGW scam.
Other factors such as fossil fuel combustion, deforestation, etc. can also cause significant increases in atmospheric CO2. However, global temperature drives CO2 much more than CO2 drives temperature.
The above sequence is an absolute disproof of the phony CAGW hypothesis, which ASSUMES that atmospheric CO2 drives global temperature - BUT the future (CO2 change) cannot cause the past (Atmospheric Temperature change).

But some of you might not be aware that Murry passed away earlier this year. I recently made contact with Murry’s son who confirmed that his father died of a rapid unforeseen illness while he was visiting his son in Melbourne. His son has given me permission to inform you of this directly through this email.
Murry was one of the few real experts in atmospheric physics and climate science. He had extensively studied the main processes controlling the Earth-Atmosphere System and was able to deduce from this the true connections of increasing greenhouse gases and a changing climate. In times that are more determined by pseudo-science than serious climate science we have lost an important voice standing up for the true values in science and research and, even more so, in spite of the great personal attacks and existential impairments he had to bear over recent years. We pay the greatest tribute to the deceased for his extensive scientific work which has contributed to a much deeper understanding of climate processes.
We mourn the loss of a great colleague and friend.

We have decided that the Journal Science of Climate Change will have a new web site: scienceofclimatechange.org, and that the papers published here will be Open Access. This includes the two papers of Salby & Harde mentioned below and one paper just submitted (Oct 24). The new web site is under construction.

Murry Salby, Hermann Harde and Ed Berry all proposed the hypothesis that much of the increase in atmospheric CO2 was natural and not human-made. The jury is still out on their hypo, but some of the smartest people I know think they were essentially correct. Theirs was an exercise in pure climate science, because we don’t need their hypo to disprove and utterly demolish the false notion of catastrophic human-made global warming – a fifty-year-old scam that was never supported by any credible evidence.
My friend, Climate Scientist Dr Murry Salby used to come to Calgary in the summers to ride his bike and we had great talks, Sadly, the clot shot took him early this year. I’ve lost two great friends to the toxic Covid-19 vaxxes – the other was a friend I knew from childhood, went through elementary and high school and started McGill together. He became Canada’s greatest architect – a “turbo-cancer” took him weeks ago. The world is much the poorer without them.
I wrote to my friend Dr Reid Sheftall recently (excerpt)
“I never thought it would be this difficult to stop people from harming and killing their own children.
It’s a horrific tragedy that I, and especially you, saw coming two years ago. As I reach old age (75), I find that I like people – a lot - and especially want the young to have good long lives.
This tragedy would break me, watching it unfold for two years exactly as predicted, except that I know I did everything to stop it from happening. I did my best, spent 5000+ hours on research and writing and talking to people who did not believe me - and may have only saved a handful.
At this stage, I still try to help, but I have become numb to the consequences. Tens of millions have died from the Covid-19 vaxxes and tens of millions more will die – many this winter – and it’s just going to happen.
Nevertheless, I am determined to choose to be happy, to enjoy the Holiday season and those I love, and to plaster a smile on my face until it won’t go away.”

Do you think he was forced into getting the shots in order to visit his son in Australia or did he just take them without doing any research on the subject? So many intelligent people have fallen for this. So tragic.
But why would they care - they re obviously indifferent to the sufferings of their own Australia people, having killed ~80,000 with their toxic Covid-19 vaccines to date and it's not over.

I know he needed the vaxxx to visit his son.
So the Australian gov't not only destroyed his reputation - or tried to - but was ultimately responsible for his death.
