The derivatives concept seems insane - we don't own what we own.
Cash is easily confiscated by the govt. Several countries have done this.
Fully paid-for property seems more difficult.
So are fully-paid shares. Seems to me that would trash the entire financial system, the banks, etc..
I have little doubt that we are on the road to Venezuela.
The question is how to protect oneself.
