Born in 1997 or 1998 and upwards are generation Z! Those born in 1996 would be 27.. hopefully a few years makes a difference! Children of boomers are not that bad, but the children of millennials.. omg!! I digress! Great post!
Socrates would be banned if he was alive today. Still, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, I'm thankful the Socratic Method did spread for a couple thousand years.
Hello Allen, I agree with you wholeheartedly but aren’t adults of 25 and 26 Generation Z? I do have a bit of hope for this group as it includes my two young adults and they differ from your characterisations of imbeciles. I’m a teacher and am well aware of what you speak of. I’m having my last hurrah with my students this year and pursuing my other passion… painting! It’s way too hard on my heart, and mind. I have trouble expressing to others the devastating changes I’ve seen in educational practices and in the minds of children themselves. It’s so frustrating! I said I’d quit when my heart is no longer in it. I’ve offered to homeschool my grandchildren when I’m blessed with some! Educating children today is worse than pulling teeth. And these so called imbecile’s children are even worse because they’ve grown up attached to technology. It’s a bloody disaster! I’m focusing now on my art and my family!
